Ahmed Hosny Ibrahim
Building Engineering Excellence for MENA's Tech Ecosystem
CTO · Assistant Professor · Technical Consultant
About
Data-driven technical leader with over 16 years of experience designing, developing, and scaling complex software solutions. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science specializing in Fog and Cloud Computing from Ain Shams University, and currently serve as Assistant Professor at Assiut University's Computer Science Department.
My career bridges the worlds of academia and industry. I've led engineering teams of up to 17 members, served as CTO for companies across Egypt and Germany, and delivered technical consulting for organizations in Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, and beyond. My expertise spans cloud architecture, distributed systems, and engineering leadership.
I'm passionate about building engineering excellence in the MENA region—helping startups scale their technical foundations and enterprises modernize their engineering practices. Whether through hands-on consulting, strategic advisory, or knowledge sharing through lectures and workshops, I aim to elevate the standard of technical leadership in our ecosystem.
